Position Summary:

We are seeking an innovative and driven Principal to lead the development and evolution of our AI-powered products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for aligning the product vision with business objectives, driving the end-to-end product lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver market leading generative AI solutions that solve real-world problems and create value for our users. This candidate will have strong consultative skills with the ability to size and define business problems and translate those into solutions that we can partner with our BCBS customers to support their business priorities

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for generative AI products.
• Identify market trends, customer needs, and emerging AI technologies to inform product development.
• Communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders, including executives, engineering teams, and customers.
• Partner with BCBS plans to identify and prioritize high-impact use cases for AI transformation
• Lead efforts to sell generative AI solutions to a broader audience of business stakeholders, showcasing their value and potential impact on organizational goals.
• Translate product vision into detailed user stories, feature requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage the product backlog, ensuring prioritization aligns with business objectives and user needs.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality AI-driven features and solutions.
• Manages the compliance process (e.g., SOC2) around product development processes

Job Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, Mathematics, Epidemiology Business or a related field
• Demonstrated success in a top-tier strategy consulting firm, or equivalent experience in customer problem definition, market sizing, and strategy development applying data, analytics, and machine learning / generative AI solutions
• Experience with core product development processes and principles, and ideally prior experience in product management within.
• Strong understanding of generative AI technologies, including large language models, image generation, and neural networks.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Jira).
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong preference for proven experience working in the healthcare industry, with a strong understanding of healthcare systems, regulatory requirements, and patient-centric solutions.
