Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payroll Analyst to oversee payroll processes, 

manage reimbursements, and handle company-wide credit card use. This role ensures 

compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in payroll operations, employee payments, and 

intercompany billing. The Payroll Analyst is also responsible for managing contractor 

payments, employee advances, and intercompany resource allocations. 


Responsibilities:

  • Process bi-weekly or monthly payroll for all subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations. 
  • Oversee employee reimbursements, ensuring timely and accurate processing of expense claims. 
  • Manage company-wide credit card usage by tracking transactions, ensuring receipt submission, and identifying transaction purposes. 
  • Withhold amounts from employee paychecks for credit card transactions without submitted receipts or identified purposes until resolved. 
  • Coordinate with finance teams for accurate recording of payroll expenses and handle intercompany billing for personnel resource usage and allocations. 
  • Process payments for domestic and international contractors, ensuring compliance with applicable tax and legal regulations. 
  • Maintain and reconcile employee advance accounts, tracking repayments and balances. 
  • Prepare W-2s and 1099s, file payroll tax reports and ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations. 
  • Collaborate with the hiring team to oversee onboarding processes, ensuring new employees are accurately set up in payroll and benefits systems. 
  • Track and monitor employee performance metrics and KPI achievements to support payroll-related adjustments and compliance. 
  • Conduct employee exit interviews and ensure seamless processing of terminations in the payroll system. 
  • Assist in workers’ compensation reporting and claims management. 
  • Provide employee payroll information to support company-wide insurance applications and renewals. 


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, HR, or a related field is preferred.  
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing and administration. 
  • Experience managing credit card transactions, contractor payments, and employee advance accounts. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. 


Skills:

  • Self-starter with time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong understanding of construction accounting.
  • Highly proficient in Excel.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
