Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales and a strong ability to connect with customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining an inviting store environment. This position requires effective communication skills and the ability to upsell products while ensuring customer satisfaction. Work days are to be Tuesday through Saturday, with Saturday hours being 9a-12p.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the cash register.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and product offerings.
- Create accurate product estimates to provide to customers and maintain communication during the decision making process.
- Engage customers in conversation to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products.
- Upsell additional products to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume.
- Keep the sales floor organized, stocked, and visually appealing at all times.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining store displays and inventory levels.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn about new products and services offered by the store.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
