We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will handle all activities related to permitting, site preparation, program maintenance, and other assigned responsibilities. This role requires managing multiple nationwide projects, maintaining strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, and ensuring efficient project execution.
Responsibilities
Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, customers, and vendors.
· Serve as the main point of contact for projects, responding to inquiries and updates via phone, email, and other communication channels.
· Regularly update internal and external stakeholders through various communication methods.
Administrative Services:
· Gather, analyze, and use data to prepare required documents for permitting and project operations.
· Maintain project-related documents in Blue Line Solutions' project management system.
· Conduct or participate in required meetings, including out-of-town meetings with customers.
· Collaborate with the Operations team to plan, track and manage inventory.
· Prepare and update project timelines, weekly plans, and forecasts for both internal planning and customer updates.
· Monitor project progress, keeping projects on schedule.
· Draft and/or assist in developing scope-of-work documents.
· Manage and direct the work of team members professionally and positively.
· Stay informed on relevant state and local laws, and maintain knowledge of BLS technology.
· Proactively follow up on requested information, creatively resolve blockers, and maintain focus on goals.
· Respond promptly to incidents and represent the company positively.
· Regularly review and enhance processes for continuous improvement.
Field Service:
· Conduct site visits and prepare or assist with site plans as needed.
· Deliver products to vendors or customers as directed.
· Participate in on-site customer meetings and installations when necessary.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
· Proven project management experience, ideally in the construction industry with technical system or equipment installations.
· PMP or CAPM certification (preferred).
· Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
· Excellent communication skills for professional interaction with diverse stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented with a strong focus on project specifications and quality.
· Experience with highway/work zone construction environments (preferred).
· CAD design or site plan development experience (preferred).
· Experience working with government agencies and/or departments of transportation (DOT).
· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Valid U.S. driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and regionally as required.
· Passion for technology, innovation, and improving public safety.
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to sit or stand for extended periods; use hands to operate tools, controls, or keyboards; reach with hands and arms.
· Must work flexible hours as needed, including occasional weekends.
· Able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally heavier objects.
· Good vision, including close, distance, color vision, and focus adjustment, necessary for reading small print and screens.
Compensation & Benefits:
· Pay: $50,000 annually, with additional compensation based on experience and certifications. Compensation will be discussed with candidates and will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, certifications, etc.
· Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
· Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
