Asst. Project Manager
Job Duties
- Start out working on the floor with the tool makers, to learn what it takes to build a tool.
- Work a week in molding to learn basic knowledge on what happens in molding, setting tools, processing, resins, organizing.
- Will be responsible for providing complete, accurate engineering drawings and documentation for all company products, with minimal supervision.
- Will be drafting and revising mechanical drawings using Solidworks
- Obtains and documents necessary measurements or observations in the production areas
- Performs engineering calculations
- Understanding of design intent
- Use of various measuring equipment
- Assist Project Manager’s with projects including prints, electrodes, mold samplings, ordering materials and any other items that are needed to complete a project.
Job Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Mechanical Drafting or Drafting Field and at least 1 year of drafting experience and/or training
- Experience using CAD software.
- Ability to read technical drawings/blueprints.
- Excellent visualization of machine parts, understanding of mechanisms and general mechanical aptitude
- Ability to use various pieces of measuring equipment
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and a solid focus to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
