WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Join our Wedding and Banquets team and facilitate celebrations guests will remember forever! We are seeking a punctual, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited for an opportunity to create guests for life.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs, including themes, timelines, and special requests.
- Ability to ensure all client preferences are understood and met, creating a personalized experience.
- Exhibit computer skills to include word processing, spreadsheet, and familiarity with brand specific property Management System(s)
- Exercise excellent communication, presentation, organization, time management, listening, and math skills.
- Read and interpret documents and write routine reports and correspondence.
- Empowered to do whatever it takes to solve problems.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Management, Marketing or related field preferred
- 2 years in a related field preferred
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Develop detailed event plans and schedules, ensuring smooth execution of all wedding and banquet functions.
- Supervise and coordinate with staff, including event coordinators, servers, bartenders, and setup crews, to ensure excellent service.
- Provide training and support to ensure staff meet high-quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions, concerns, and last-minute changes.
- Ensure all client preferences are understood and met, creating a personalized experience.
- Conduct property tours as needed to promote and support the sale of weddings and events.
- Coordinate with external vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, etc.) to ensure timely and seamless service integration.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to maintain quality and budget compliance.
- Address and resolve any issues during events, such as schedule delays, equipment malfunctions, or client concerns.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor to ensure a positive guest experience.
