The ideal candidate will provide technical support and troubleshooting for various hardware and software applications, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. You will act as a liaison between users and technical teams, resolving issues and implementing solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- College degree and/or advanced studies in the field of IT networking, security, or programming.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role.
- Must have VMware vSphere environment, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server experience.
- Must have experience managing and maintaining Windows Active Directories, including user accounts, permissions, and policies.
- Must have strong understanding and experience with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- Cisco switching experience. (CCNA preferred.)
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
- Problem solving, organizational and communication skills required (verbal and written).
- A minimum of 3 or more years’ experience managing systems and networks in a corporate environment.
- Requires ability to work in a 24x7 environment with on-call shifts.
- This position is an on site position. No remote work available.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
- Support Cisco switch architecture and configurations.
- Monitor, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
- Manage and maintain Windows Active Directory, including user accounts, permissions and policies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, SOP’s and policies pertaining to LAN/WAN structures, IT usage policy, process instructions, network map, computer inventory, PCI and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining all support aspects of Property Management System (PMS), Ticketing POS, Food & Beverage POS, Retail POS, eCommerce, CCTV systems, music systems, wireless infrastructure and many other technology and operational systems.
- Use daily and seasonal checklists to maintain systems and install seasonal equipment locations. Function as tier 2 support, maintain help desk ticket system and mentor other Information Technology staff to support the Company’s network infrastructure.
- Ensure proper backup and disaster recovery strategies are in place for virtual machines and critical network configurations.
- Provide outstanding support for all guests and users via methods including, over-the-phone, chat, email, ticketing systems and in-person.
- Use innovative IT solutions to correlate with the needs and direction of our company.
- Adhere to critical timelines to complete tasks and prevent downtime or loss of revenue.
