Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cafeteria Worker to join our team. As a key member of our food service staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cafeteria, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Duties

- Prepare and serve food and beverages in a fast-paced cafeteria environment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafeteria, including food preparation areas, dining areas, and storage facilities
- Follow established recipes and food safety guidelines to ensure the preparation of high-quality meals
- Assist with food handling and storage, including receiving and stocking deliveries
- Collaborate with other food service staff members to ensure seamless service during peak hours
- Participate in daily cleaning and sanitizing procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Comply with all food safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions with customers, colleagues, and management
- Perform other duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the cafeteria

Skills

- Experience in the food industry, including experience in a cafeteria or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Certification in food safety is preferred, but not required
- Willingness to provide assistance to colleagues as needed
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Knowledge of food handling and storage procedures
- Ability to help with tasks and responsibilities as needed
- A positive and professional attitude

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $12.50 - $12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
