What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Operations Lead position at Blue Owl LLC?
As a Senior Valuation Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day valuation process, including valuation reviews, performance analyses, and presentations to senior management. You will also be responsible for developing financial models to evaluate and support valuations, including stress-testing and back-testing.
You will work closely with the Valuation Committee to identify trends and performance drivers relevant to our business. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise on valuation-related projects, such as regulatory reviews, new business initiatives, and current market practices relating to valuation issues.
This is an opportunity to drive process enhancements while ensuring policies, procedures, and methodologies align with industry best practices, specifically ASC 820 Fair Value Measurement. You will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers and serve as a liaison for external auditors and third-party valuation firms.
