Blue Ridge Animal Clinic is a mixed animal veterinary practice in Lexington, VA. BRAC was established in 1985 with the goal of providing full-service veterinary care for large and small animals. Our skilled and compassionate staff provide preventive care as well as medical, surgical, dental and advanced reproductive services for our patients, both small and large animals.

Blue Ridge Animal Clinic is a rural, high case load, mixed animal general practice. We are an established private practice who has served the area for 40 years. We are seeking full, part time or alternative scheduling veterinarians.

The ideal candidates are individuals with a team player work ethic. As a multi-doctor practice we prioritize communication, often working together and sharing cases. We extend our collaborative care further by offering mentorship to veterinary and undergraduate students year-round.

We have an open relationship with multiple referral hospitals in our area and feel fortunate to have so many qualified choices for both small and large animals.

Small Animal Associates
BRAC does not offer small animal after-hours emergency services, but we do hospitalize patients that may require evening or weekend checks by a veterinarian. Small Animal associates do not have any responsibility for on call duties. We consider full time a 4-day work week. Our practice has a surgical suite, in-house Idexx laboratory, digital radiography, ultrasound and a class IV therapeutic laser. Will consider full or part time associates for this position.

Our team-oriented staff currently includes 4 LVTs, 4 veterinary assistants, 3 receptionists and a Practice Manager. Team members are passionate, professional and caring, providing fantastic support both in the clinic and on the road. Employee benefits include competitive salary, health & dental insurance, life insurance, long term disability, retirement plan with company matching, CE assistance, and access to STD, accident and other supplemental insurance.
