What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appointment Scheduler position at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare?
Entry Level Pay: $16.71/hour. Additional compensation commensurate with experience.
Appointment Scheduler provide excellent customer service while scheduling, rescheduling, and canceling patient appointments for multiple agency locations. The Appointment Schedulers respond to requests for behavioral health appointments in person or by phone, email, or electronic messaging. This position may require that you work at two work locations.
The schedule for this position is 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with one hour lunch, Monday - Friday.
What we are looking for: The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, have strong customer service skills and will enjoy assisting individuals who may have mental illness, substance use disorder or developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will be flexible, a strong multi-tasker, and communicate well.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: One year customer service experience working with diverse client populations preferred. Scheduling experience is a major plus!
- Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
