What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Manager position at Blue Ridge Event Production?
Event production company headquartered in Charlottesville, VA, with a satellite office in Richmond, is seeking an experienced full-time Office Manager for our Charlottesville location.
The ideal candidate will offer proficiency in general office management and accounting, including, but not limited to:
-Use of Microsoft Office
-Payroll and Data entry
-Basic accounting/bookkeeping skills, including accounts receivable and payable, general ledger activity, month end closing of the books
-Organizational skills and time management
-Scheduling
-Phone reception
-Procurement of hotels, rental cars, airline travel, etc.
-Prior staff management experience a plus
Candidate is expected to work a 40-45 hour workweek, Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5pm.
This may be an hourly position to start - which can develop into a salaried position for the right person that displays the work ethic and quality performance expected at this position. Benefits package available after 60 days, retirement/vacation benefits offered after achieving a longer service period/salaried status.
Pay rate is commensurate upon experience and background - expected starting rate of $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
