Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Part- Time Provider Scheduling Coordinator to join our medical team in Hendersonville, NC

What You'll Do:
This position is responsible for coordinating provider schedules and faculty schedules, opening clinic schedules in the practice management system and provides administrative support to faculty, works closely with the Residency Program Administrator, Residency Curriculum Specialist, and various Clinic Practice Managers. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and yearly base schedules for each provider for Teaching Health Center locations
- Works with clinic managers to approve PTO requests prior to developing schedules
- In coordination with Residency Program Administrator and Curriculum Specialist, approves and makes appropriate changes to schedules and manages last minute changes
- Coordinates faculty schedules with Residency Program Administrator and Residency Curriculum Specialist to produce timely and accurate patient care schedules
- Manages weekly schedule has appropriate number of providers each patient care session to ensure access to patient care
- Manages resident/preceptor ratio to ensure proper supervision of the residents
- Manages specialty clinic schedules with appropriate provider coverage to provide education/supervision to the Family Medicine Residents
- Coordinates precepting time with Practice Managers/Site Coordinators when residents are assigned to offices other than North Justice Street or Chimney Rock.
- Works faculty schedules around BRH meetings i.e. monthly staff/provider, quality, operations, directors, and other non-residency meetings
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Must be able to read and generate written medical communication and documentation.
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisor or other collaborative community agencies.
