Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position involves a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, making it essential for the smooth operation of our practice.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort.
• Administer medications as directed by the physician or nurse.
• Perform basic laboratory tests.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency.
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
• Experience in a clinical setting is advantageous.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and understanding medication administration protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is desirable.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
