Blue Sea Dental’s mission is to create the best dental group in Southwest Florida and we are well on our way! Our group of five dental practices with 90 employees seeks an enthusiastic, energetic, positive thinking, experienced Human Resources Generalist. This critical role will work with our Human Resources Director to assist in and execute the full range of HR functions for our growing organization.

As an HR Generalist at Blue Sea Dental a typical work week could involve any of the following:
- Assist with recruiting and screening new team members, including checking references, previous employment verification, etc.
- Assist with conducting employee onboarding
- Help organize training and professional development activities
- Track performance review schedules and ensure evaluations are completed on time
- Work with Office Managers to advise on management of performance issues including advice on resolving issues and preparation of/follow-up on performance management plans
- Communicate policy to appropriate colleagues, including Office Managers and team members with direct reports
- Keep up-to-date on State and Federal regulations and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Benefit plan administration, including health insurance, paid time off, etc.
- Develop positive working relationships and effective communications with team members at all levels of the organization
- Listen and respond appropriately to team member concerns
- Educate team members and answer questions about benefits and other human resource-related topics
- Create and maintain employee HR files
- Assist with exit procedures, including terminations and exit interviews

- Minimum 3 years experience in a role as an HR Generalist or Manager responsible for the activities listed above
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Understanding of human resource policies and procedures
- Knowledge of employment and labor laws
- Good communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Positive mindset
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
