Special Education Services Coordinator

*Candidates must live in Eastern Nassau or Suffolk County*

Our Service team is responsible for receiving IEP mandates from our schools, and managing relationships with schools and parents to ensure we can provide exceptional services to their students. This role will require a Candidate who can utilize strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with School Districts and Parents to build strong relationships with points of contact for students
• Gather necessary information to ensure IEP mandate is fulfilled
• Enter and manage a database of information
• Handle and address questions from parents or schools pertaining to services and IEP mandate fulfillment
• Ensure communication is professional and effective
• Work with our Staffing Department to ensure effective provider placement

Qualifications:

• Experience with reading IEPs and/or working within Special Education
• Exceptional customer service, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and critical thinking skills
• Positive, energetic, and confident attitude
• Experience in Special Education highly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
