Your Role
The Group Medicare Account Management team provides strategic oversight, consultative support, and superior service to our employer groups (State of California, Public Agencies, and School Districts, Union/Labor groups) participating in their health benefits program. The Manager, Group Medicare Accounts - Non Sales will report to the Director, Group Medicare Account Management. You will be a strategic advisor and provide consultative client management through developing internal and external relationships and understanding of the client business to identify service needs, plan service delivery and drive use of proactive service and support.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience, including in client-facing roles
- Requires direct experience with Group Medicare
- Requires deep understanding of CMS compliance requirements and Group Medicare regulations
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills addressing both clients and retirees
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority
- Ability to identify and propose innovative solutions to meet the needs of clients and retirees
