Your Role
The HRBP, Director (Stellarus) is a dynamic, hands-on leader who will serve as a strategic partner in a fast-paced start-up, high-growth environment, aligning human resources with organizational goals to drive business results. The Director, HRBP Stellarus will report to the VP, Human Resource Business Partner. This position will lead a team of Human Resource Business Partners, serving Stellarus leaders and their respective teams. This role will work collaboratively with the HR Business Partner Leadership team and the People and Engagement Centers of Excellence team to execute and achieve goals.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a college degree or equivalent experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Requires 10 years of progressive experience in the HR field, and a successful track record of implementing progressive human resources initiatives that have had a clear impact on the performance of the organization
- Requires a minimum of 6 years of management experience
- Requires 5 years of strategy development and implementation experience inclusive of change management
- Requires an understanding of the business and the ability to anticipate the impact of talent on the future success of the company
- Requires the ability to connect business and people strategies and lead the development and execution of human capital planning
- Requires experience scaling teams and capabilities within a dynamic and rapidly evolving growth organization
- Requires the ability to proactively communicate with multiple stakeholders inside the organization, operating comfortably in a highly matrixed environment
- Requires one to be comfortable operating in an innovative and fast-paced organization and to bring an external lens of HR best practices to Blue Shield of CA
- Requires expert level ability to lead, coach, consult with, and influence business executives towards success and effectiveness in leadership team and workforce capability
- Travel Requirement: Some travel, primarily in-state, will be required.
- Preferred Credentials: Professional certifications/designations (i.e. PHR, SPHR), coaching certification (i.e. CPC, ACC, PCC)
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 166540.00 to $ 249920.00 for California.

Blue Shield salaries are based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, location (California, Bay area, or outside California), and current employee salaries for similar roles.
