Your Role
The Pharmacy Technician, Advanced oversee and maintain the operations, logistics, and data that accompanies clinical pharmaceuticals. Pharmacy Technician, Advanced will report to the Pharmacy Supervisor, Operations. Provides efficient and accurate responses to external customers (physicians, office staff, pharmacy providers, members, and brokers), and internal team members. Resolves outpatient pharmacy benefit coverage and prescription claim problems. Communicates drug formulary guidelines, including drug formulary alternatives, prior authorization criteria, and group/member eligibility problems.
Your Knowledge and Experience
- Requires a Certified Pharmacy Technician license
- Requires at least 4 years of pharmacy related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Medicare experience preferred
- Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education
- Must be willing and available to work weekends
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is: $ 23.83 to $ 33.36 for California.
