Your Role
The Survey Analytics team is responsible for supporting analytics tied to internal and external key programs such as Net Promoter Score (NPS), Digital Satisfaction, Call Center Satisfaction, Interactive Response Satisfaction, Mock Medicare CMS and Forrester. The Medical Informatics Analyst, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Medical Informatics. In this role you will support survey programs such as NPS, CAHPS, STAR Ratings, and MSAT, providing actionable insights through statistical analysis, topic modeling, trend identification and reporting.
This role is strategically crafted to focus 70% on analytics and 30% on reporting, with direct engagement with the Member Experience team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for improving member health outcomes through data and analytics, actively engaging with stakeholders to frame business problems, recommend analytic frameworks, and deliver impactful, high-quality solutions. Success in this role requires a product-oriented mindset and the ability to influence outcomes effectively within a matrixed environment.
Responsibilities
Your Work
In this role you will :
- Conduct independent analysis of high complexity under minimal supervision and guidance
- Develop analytical methods so that they may be subsequently delegated for production to Medical Informatics Analysts at lower levels
- Produce analysis of high complexity under the guidance and direction of Medical Informatics Analyst V, supervisor or manager
- Develop documentation and create and execute workplans for analyses of high complexity. Workplans may coordinate the activities of Medical Informatics Analysts at lower levels and may involve collaboration with more than one team
- Provide training and mentoring for team members on best practices for analysis and reporting; assist in the development of supplemental analytic training tools and materials; conducts formal training sessions for lower-level analysts and analysts in other departments
- Partner with the Member Experience team and respective lines of business to communicate survey insights and their implications for strategic goals
- Analyze survey data to identify key trends, patterns, and themes, focusing on both quantitative metrics (e.g., CAHPS, NPS) and qualitative verbatim responses.
- Perform advanced analyses, including segmentation analysis, conjoint analysis, topic modeling using NLP techniques, and regression modeling, to explore relationships between survey variables
- Support sampling techniques, bias correction, sample weighting, and significance testing for key surveys like NPS and Mock CAHPS
- Act as a liaison with the Data Services team to validate the accuracy and completeness of survey datasets
- Partner with the Data Visualization team to build self-serve dashboards, empowering stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Bring enthusiasm to solving complex challenges, improving member satisfaction, and driving healthcare outcomes

The pay range for this role is : $ 119130.00 to $ 178860.00 for California.
