They are seeking a Network Engineer to join their Network Operations Center (NOC) team. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing network performance, ensuring reliability, and enhancing security within large-scale enterprise network infrastructures. The selected candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting incidents, configuring network components, and implementing best practices for network efficiency.

Focus:
- Continuously oversee the performance, security, and availability of enterprise networks, including traditional infrastructures and DAS networks.
- Rapidly address network alarms, outages, and incidents to minimize service disruptions.
- Diagnose root causes of network issues and implement appropriate resolutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to deploy temporary and permanent solutions.
- Execute configuration updates and changes for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network hardware.
- Identify and troubleshoot connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and other inefficiencies.
- Conduct network assessments and provide recommendations for performance enhancements and capacity expansions.
- Implement security measures to protect network integrity.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in controlled environments.
Skill Set:
- In-depth knowledge of IP networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs.
- Strong proficiency in SD-WAN, routing, and switching protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with network security tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs) and threat mitigation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across departments and with external vendors.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to network performance and security.
