This organization is seeking a dedicated Plant Manager to join their team. In this role, you will oversee all daily plant operations, ensuring seamless coordination across Inventory/Compliance, Production, Packaging, and Facilities teams. By partnering with Sales, you will ensure production meets sales demand while maintaining high product quality and compliance with state laws. This role is pivotal in maintaining production output to meet demand while ensuring the facility can scale operations efficiently.

Focus:
- Oversee all daily plant operations, including Inventory/Compliance, Production, Packaging, and Facilities teams.
- Hire, train, and develop leaders within the organization.
- Partner with Sales teams to ensure production meets sales demand.
- Investigate and implement innovative manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve product quality.
- Create documentation protocols and ensure all records of operations are properly maintained and reviewed.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to design, specify, and validate world-class manufacturing processes that achieve organizational goals.
- Ideate and implement strategic improvements for production, quality, and labor utilization throughout the facility.
- Ensure adherence to state compliance laws.
- Ensure clear communication with Department Managers.
- Oversee employee performance reviews.
- Manage hiring and termination processes.
- Train and develop Department Managers.
- Maintain a culture of accountability at every step of our process.
- Ensure compliance with inventory and transfer management.
- Ensure zero product quality issues through enhanced quality control, staff training, and regular audits.
- Optimize processes using lean manufacturing principles and develop scalable, tech-driven systems.
- Establish a clear organizational structure with comprehensive training programs and career pathways.
Skill Set:
- At least 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably Cannabis edibles manufacturing. Will also consider food, beverage, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
- Previous experience in a senior operations role within a large-scale manufacturing facility.
- Experience working with a high sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment.
- At least 7 years leading large, diverse teams across multiple departments.
- Proficiency in data analysis and inventory management systems.
- High attention to detail.
- Problem solver that thrives under pressure.
- Excellent in conflict resolution, communication, learning, and teaching an array of subjects.
- Willing to submit to a background check.
- Must obtain all state-required permits, licenses, and certifications.
