Focus:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and manage all phases of assigned projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Oversee project teams, including Project Managers, Superintendents, and other staff, ensuring effective coordination and execution.
- Monitor project progress, manage schedules, and address any issues related to cost, quality, or safety.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and contractual requirements.
- Administer change requests and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders, including subcontractors and suppliers, to resolve issues and maintain project alignment.
- Prepare and present comprehensive project reports, including status updates and performance evaluations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial control and profitability.
- Implement and uphold quality standards and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of ten years' experience in project management within the construction industry, with a significant focus on electrical systems and technology solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large scale projects, including familiarity with the specific requirements of hospital construction projects.
- Proficiency with project management software and tools.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, project management software, and other relevant tools.
- PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
