Our client, a top manufacturer of high-performance lighting products and solutions, is seeking a Northeast Regional Sales Manager. They are looking for an experienced lighting industry sales professional to fill the role of Lighting Northeast Regional Sales Manager - Specification. The primary focus of this position is to enhance the company's brand among the lighting design community and support its sustained sales growth.
The Lighting Northeast Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for working with lighting rep agencies. The ideal candidate will have the autonomy and strategic influence to shape the company’s growth within the Northeast territory.

Focus :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while actively hunting for new opportunities within the Northeast region.
Build and nurture relationships within the target market, identifying opportunities for sales and product development.
Lead meetings and sales presentations with key decision-makers, close deals, and manage contract negotiations.
Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for all manufactured lighting products, providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Manage SLAs and customer service strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Implement strategies to increase penetration within existing accounts through cross-selling opportunities.
Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to the leadership team.
Conduct market research to stay current on competitor products, technology trends, regional developments, compliance regulations, and other relevant data.
Frequent travel within the Northeast region to meet with existing and prospective clients.
Skill Set :
2-5 years of experience in outside sales, demonstrating a proven ability to attract and retain accounts.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. Related experience will also be accepted.
Strong background in the lighting industry, with knowledge of the regional market preferred.
Exceptional relationship-building skills at all levels, with a strong commitment to delivering superior customer experiences.
Proficiency in MS Office and common CRM / sales software (e.g., Salesforce).
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
Existing relationships with architects, lighting designers, lighting rep agencies, and distributors within the Northeast region are a plus.
Strong professional presence and business acumen, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
A quick learner with a proactive work ethic and a passion for success in the lighting industry.
