As an IT Infrastructure Manager at Blue Sky Bank, you will be responsible for:
- Manages the desktop support and network support staff and activities associated with the identification, prioritization, and resolution of reported problems using best practices and ticketing systems.
- Prioritizes daily activities of the team resulting in efficient use of time and resources.
- Manages information technology, operating system software, and antivirus patching to ensure upgrades are completed timely and consistent with department policies and procedures.
- Works with hardware and network vendors to confirm that service level agreements are being met. Escalate issues in a timely fashion to the Managing Director IT.
- Manages communication with stakeholders and IT management ensuring daily priorities are in line with department goals.
- Manages inventory and budget for hardware related to break/fix, refresh, and new hires.
- Develops, implements, and oversees the Bank’s information security program ensuring the Bank complies with regulatory and legal requirements including FFIEC and FDICIA.
- Responsible for user access reviews including developing a policy and procedure around reviewing user access for the core and all critical applications.
- Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of products across the Bank’s technical platforms.
- Serves as project manager for small projects around desktop and network infrastructure.
- Provides leadership and guidance for Disaster Recovery testing and support.
- Mentors, trains, and develops staff.
- Follows all Bank policies and procedures, including those contained in the Employee Handbook.
- Sets and oversees deadlines for direct reports.
- Assigns responsibilities and directs workflow for direct reports of project team, monitors their progress, and follows-up providing respectful coaching/feedback and disciplinary action when necessary.
- Maintains and seeks opportunities and continued training to develop professional skills.
- Travels as required and necessary.
- Performance of all job duties and responsibilities by being physically present on-site an average of 40 hours each week based on business needs.
- Performs other job duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
As an IT Infrastructure Manager at Blue Sky Bank, you will have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of two years related job experience.
- Two or more years of experience supporting desktop, network support and IT security activities.
- Competent in maintaining and resolving LAN/WAN, VoIP telephone, computers, and VM server issues.
- Reliable transportation, a valid Driver License, and proof of vehicle insurance for travel to and from the Bank’s branches and occasional seminars and/or training Travels as required and necessary.
- Able to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
