SUMMARY
A Regional Manager Teller Operations is responsible for organizing and coordinating banking services by managing a group of Retail Supervisors (Teller Supervisors) to deliver exceptional customer service. A Regional Manager Teller Operations ensures the highest level of client relations and service and fosters the Bank’s service culture and Core Values, Mission, and Vision through mentoring, coaching, training, and motivating Retail Supervisors (Teller Supervisors) and Retail Teams (Teller Teams).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors the daily operations of assigned Retail Supervisors to ensure processes as well as supervises the execution of daily tasks within their region.
- Acts as a liaison between the Managing Director of Retail Banking and assigned Retail Teams.
- Hires, trains, directs, and evaluates employee performance within assigned Retail Teams; recommends promotions, transfers, and salary adjustments; identifies performance problems and coordinates appropriate action with Human Resources including termination, as necessary.
- Optimizes performance and assists in the development of assigned Retail Supervisors and their assigned Retail Teams through training, supervising, coaching, instructing, mentoring, and disciplinary action when necessary. Clearly defines responsibilities and performance expectations while assuring full compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Conducts weekly meetings with assigned Retail Supervisors.
- Conducts and participates in bi-weekly meetings of all Retail Supervisors.
- Conducts quarterly in person individual meetings with Retail Supervisors.
- Creates a strong workforce by developing competent Retail Teams.
- Oversees processing of banking activities to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and accountability are followed.
- Collaborates with management to develop best practices for successful banking operations.
- Approves Retail Supervisors requests for time off from work, Paid Time Off in Paylocity, etc.
- Satisfactorily performs Universal Banker (Teller) I, II, and III, Senior Retail Lead, and Retail Supervisor job duties and responsibilities as needed and requested by management.
- Opens and maintains commercial accounts.
- Maintains CD listings/Broker service providers.
- Assists IRA Specialist with customer inquiries.
- Acts as a liaison between IRA Specialist and the customer.
- Acts as a liaison between departments.
- Assists the Managing Director of Retail Banking with training as assigned.
- Trains, supervises, and delegates assignments to their team, holding them accountable through coaching, constructive criticism, assessment, and disciplinary action when required by establishing clearly defined responsibilities and performance expectations while assuring full compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Creates and manages work schedules of their team, including but not limited to approving or denying requests for time off from work, Paid Time Off in Paylocity, etc.
- Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance to their team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Recognizes red flags, scams, fraud, phishing, etc.
- Stays current on applicable banking regulations and security procedures and practices to prevent fraud or other bank losses and to comply with regulatory requirements.
- Performs responsibilities during Bank hours by being physically present in the Bank an average of 40 hours each week based on business needs.
- Travels between branches as needed.
- Performs other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of banking or management experience.
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, qualifying motor vehicle record report, and reliable transportation.

- Ability to manage, lead, delegate, and train team members effectively, inspiring them to meet business objectives.
