Job Summary
To clean and maintain the common areas assigned throughout the hotel and assist in all areas related to housekeeping. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
While performing the duties of this position, the job regularly requires standing and walking for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions, bending, stretching, reaching, stooping, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules (including Holidays and weekends) to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure closets are stocked with linens for the current day and/or for the next day
- Respond promptly to requests from guests and Supervisors
- Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested
- Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
- Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash from the Housekeeper carts
- Transport all dirty linens to the laundry and continuously re-stock the Room attendant’s carts throughout the day
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
- Support the Housekeeping team to reach common goals
- Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment
- Clean windows, balconies and staircases assigned
- Vacuum the hallways and ensure cleanliness by the end of the shift
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects without assistance
- Perform any other job-related duties assigned
