Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced hands on Construction Supervisor to join our team. As a Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from start to finish. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Manage and schedule daily activities of construction crews on site
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project success
- Provide guidance and training to construction workers on proper techniques and safety procedures
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies needed for each project
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify any issues or potential risks
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and change orders
Experience:
- Proven hands on Framing and Finish Carpentry Skills
-Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction management software, Builder Trend
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and construction estimating
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving abilities
