WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Rental Attendant

Previous experience in customer service

Highly responsible and reliable

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team.

Enjoy dealing with the public.

Great verbal communication skills

Ability to do heavy lifting and be mobile.

Seasonal roles are not eligible for health benefits. Seasonal roles are eligible for sick time and holiday pay.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Ensure guests are aware of all services available on the beach.

Assist with the beach set-up / break-down, selling beach rentals, and escorting beach equipment.

Follow and comply with all company policies and procedures.

Oversee the general cleanliness and upkeep of the beach area.

Always maintain positive guest relations.

Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction.

Check supply and equipment levels and report shortages to the Supervisor.

Monitor all guest activity in the assigned work area; be alert to any sign of trouble. Ensure the safety of guests and enforcement of rules / precautions according to department standards.

Monitor beach warning signs and change according to weather conditions.

Utilize first aid and lifesaving procedures when situations demand such.

Remove debris, empty ashtrays, and clean furniture.

Ensures the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest-ready always.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Provides regular and reliable attendance.

WHAT YOU BRING

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Must be able to swim independently.

1-2 years’ experience in rental setup

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, swimming, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
