Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing various marketing strategies for Blue Water Mortgage. This position reports to the SVP of Operations.
- Develop and maintain a robust social media calendar that leverages seasonal trends, industry updates, company news, sponsorships, and events.
- Manage, post, and update all social media sites for the company and top loan officers.
- Provide ongoing social media recommendations to Loan Officers.
- Collaborate with leadership on digital advertisements and SEO strategies.
- Add webpages as needed.
- Biweekly meetings with the Agency Team at Vital Design.
- Review and approve biweekly content in the form of video and blog posts.
- Work with the Pay Per Click Team at the Agency and Inside Sales Team to increase effectiveness and close ratios.
- Assist third-party vendor (Vital) on larger outsourced projects.
- Work with loan officers to plan and assist in the execution of events like realtor lunch and learns, Real Estate Agent continuing education events, community outreach events, Blue Water Sponsored events, visiting real estate closings, and team-building events.
- Order, manage, and ensure timely delivery of promo items and branded marketing items.
- Assist with orders for business cards, name tags.
- Prepare slides for Monthly All-Company meetings.
- Maintenance of Database to include movement of recently closed and new prospects to the marketing engine, Surefire, from loan origination software and digital marketing software, Hubspot.
- Monitor Client Retention Campaign for accuracy and execution.
- Database maintenance, including updating database for returned email addresses, returned mailing addresses, and removing non-qualified prospects.
- Prepare and present monthly reports to the executive team to show results for key metrics like database growth, open rates for campaigns, and more.
- BS/BA in Marketing.
- Mortgage experience is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of the most up-to-date marketing platforms and software.
- Thorough understanding of all marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing strategies).
- Creative self-starter who excels in a fast-paced, team environment with an eagerness to learn and innovate.

- $50,000 for a college graduate with a strong GPA, Dean’s list recognition, activities, and awards.
- $60,000 for the above plus two years of relevant experience with a strong reference.
