What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Specialist position at Blue Water Sedans & Limousines?
Blue Water Sedans is a well-established, small business locally owned and operated out of Santa Cruz. Our work environment relies on a team atmosphere where everyone is determined to do their part to ensure our clients have the best experience possible. We are looking to grow and expand over the next year so therefore looking for positive enthusiasm from any additions to our group!
Your primary responsibility is to ensure high customer satisfaction from initial reservation to final payment. This will mean time spent communicating with our clients and chauffeurs over the phone, by text, and by email while working in our reservation system. Busy times can fluctuate throughout the day, week, and year depending on the number and types of reservations we get. Therefore, our ideal person would be one who can keep their poise under pressure and prioritize tasks when we’re busy. Then, when things slow down, work on getting ahead and preparing for when things pick up again.
We are looking for someone to be available Tues-Fri from roughly 10 am to 3 pm (time may vary). We are not open on major holidays, but need someone is typically in town and able to work around the holidays. There could also be fill in work over the weekend and other times to cover vacations, sick days, etc.
There is potential for this role to evolve into one with more responsibility. We want to grow and utilize someone's skills and abilities beyond just what's listed in a job description, but we have to start with mastering the basics of the job!
Key Responsibilities
Daily Tasks:
· Take reservations via phone or e-mail.
· Provide assistance to our Chauffeurs.
· Process drivers’ paperwork and reconcile any differences.
· Process payments and run financial reports.
· Review reservations to make sure all info is correct.
· Set the driver schedule according to driver availability, weather reports, and potential traffic issues.
· Handle all changes to the schedule, confirm Chauffeurs, ensure they have the proper information, etc.
· Close the Office, including communicating pertinent information to the night staff.
· Handle projects for management on an as-needed basis.
· Help to maintain office professionalism with clients and coworkers.

Starting pay is based on experience and knowledge. Pay rates to increase as training is complete and skills demonstrated.
