We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team in Douglasville, GA The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial construction, specifically with metal roofing and structural systems. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates, reviewing plans, and understanding site conditions and building codes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare mock designs and cost estimates for various projects.
- Calculate and determine the sales price for each project.
- Deliver timely and accurate estimates to meet project deadlines.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Analyze and understand site conditions and building codes to ensure compliance.
- Utilize CRM and ACC software to manage project information and client interactions.
- Collaborate with the construction team to assess and determine project costs.
- Provide detailed cost analysis and risk assessments for proposed projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, commercial construction techniques, and materials.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare reports and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in commercial construction.
- Proficiency in preparing mock designs and cost estimates.
- Strong understanding of metal roofing and structural systems.
- In-depth knowledge of construction cost analysis and project budgeting.
- Familiarity with site conditions and building codes.
- Experience using CRM and ACC software.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
