Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Contract Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects in Woodstock. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction industry, with specific experience in commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage project resources, including subcontractors and suppliers, to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or other relevant project management certification.
