POSITION PURPOSE:
The Network Project Manager will lead and oversee our network projects. This role involves a deep understanding of routing, fiber equipment design, and the telecom industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise, leadership, and innovation to our dynamic team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 5 years of project management in telecommunications.
- Associate degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of routing and fiber equipment design.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Adaptability: Self-starter and ability to think outside the box.
- Ability to build strong cross-departmental business relationships.
- Process Improvement: Ability to streamline and improve processes as needed
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLILITES:
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Team Leadership: Lead project teams, provide guidance, and ensure collaboration across departments.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize knowledge of routing and fiber equipment design to make informed decisions and improve project outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation and provide regular status updates.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes
