Position Summary:
The Program Control Manager will play a critical role in overseeing the overall management of project lifecycles for BlueForge Alliance, supporting projects related to the maritime industrial base and the 1 2 mission. The Program Control Manager will lead efforts in scheduling, budgeting, financial analytics, and change management, driving maximum efficiencies throughout the project lifecycle. By effectively managing project controls, the Program Control Manager will contribute to the organization's mission of delivering high-quality defense solutions while ensuring the efficient use of resources and adherence to regulatory requirements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage project lifecycle management system requirements and oversight.
- Manage scheduling & financial analyst teams.
- Execute project lifecycle management system prioritization as directed by program leadership.
- Execute program change management in accordance program change management process.
- Execute program cost & schedule planning & control and monitors performance in accordance with program performance metrics.
- Analyze financial risks and opportunities associated with government contracts, proposing strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Develop detailed schedules for projects and programs in accordance with contractual requirements, including timelines, milestones, deadlines, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align schedules and ensure that dependencies and deadlines are managed effectively
- Continuously monitor and track progress against the schedule. Identifies potential delays or issues and takes corrective actions to stay on track.
- Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively according to the established project schedule.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting for US government contracts, including budget variance analysis, forecasting, and profitability assessment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages, develops and trains staff.
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Provides constructive feedback and timely performance evaluations.
