Job Summary
The Payroll/HR Coordinator is responsible for managing and overseeing the payroll process for the organization. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and support the overall financial operations of the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting skills and experience with payroll systems.
Duties
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain employee records related to payroll, benefits administration, and deductions.
- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs and resolve any related inquiries.
- Utilize payroll software such as Sage 300C to manage payroll functions efficiently.
- Prepare reports related to payroll data for management review.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper recording of debits and credits associated with payroll transactions.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements
- Proven experience in a payroll processing role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as Sage 300C is preferred.
- Experience in benefits administration is a plus.
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliation effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of corporate accounting practices is beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
