We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to manage our presence on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. This role requires a strong understanding of social media trends, content creation (both static and video), and audience engagement. The ideal candidate will be able to conceptualize, create, edit, and schedule/post content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and manage content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Develop creative concepts for both static graphics and video content that drive engagement and brand awareness.
- Shoot and edit videos using trending formats, audio, and styles suitable for each platform.
- Design static posts, carousels, reels, and stories using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure content is aligned with marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Monitor social media platforms for comments, DMs, trends, and competitor activity.
- Analyze content performance and adjust strategies to increase reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with the marketing team or leadership to align messaging and goals.
- Stay up-to-date with platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging trends.
Work Hours & Location:
Due to the nature of the business, this position offers flexible hours, with the option to work remotely for most of the week. However, we do require a minimum of 5 hours per week on-site at our physical office location to capture content, shoot videos, take photos, and meet for strategy sessions. The remaining hours may be completed remotely for editing, scheduling, and posting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience developing social media content.
- Proficient in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, InShot).
- Strong understanding of social media best practices for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Skilled in both videography and graphic design for social platforms.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative with creative ideas.
- A portfolio or examples of past social media work is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Photography or video production experience is a plus.
