Bluegrass Landscape Company is a Deign/Build Landscape and Outdoor Living company. We specialize in new construction, hardscaping, softscaping, irrigation and drainage, and unique outdoor living spaces. We are currently hiring a Team Lead, who will perform and oversee the construction of our landscapes.

Role Overview

The Team Lead is responsible for managing and executing landscape installations to ensure they are completed efficiently, professionally, and with an exceptional client experience. This individual is the on-site leader, ensuring every team member is motivated, trained, and aligned to deliver fast, high-quality work that exceeds expectations. Cleanliness, organization, and client satisfaction are top priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficient Execution of Installations
• Lead the crew to complete installations on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.
• Identify and address potential delays or issues promptly to maintain progress.
• Track and report daily progress to the Project Manager.
• Job Site Management
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site that reflects the company's commitment to professionalism.
• Ensure tools, materials, and equipment are accounted for and in working order.
• Communicate with clients on-site, as needed, to address questions or provide updates.
• Team Training & Leadership
• Train and mentor crew members in efficient, high-quality work methods, including proper use of tools and materials.
• Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative team environment.
• Ensure team members are adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
• Quality Assurance
• Personally inspect all work to ensure it meets the company’s standards for structural integrity, aesthetic appeal, and customer satisfaction.
• Address and correct any deficiencies promptly.
• Deliver a final walkthrough with the client to ensure satisfaction.

Key Results Areas:

1. Installation Execution & Speed

• Objective: Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting company quality standards.
• KPIs:
• ≥95% of projects completed on or ahead of schedule.
• ≤10% variance in budgeted labor/materials.

2. Job Site Organization & Cleanliness

• Objective: Run a clean, organized, and safe job site that enhances the client experience.
• KPIs:
• Job sites inspected weekly with ≥90% cleanliness and organization score.
• Zero safety violations or incidents.

3. Team Leadership & Training

• Objective: Motivate, train, and mentor team members to perform efficiently and professionally, delivering HGTV-quality results.
• KPIs:
• ≥90% team satisfaction in quarterly surveys.
• Team members able to work independently after ≤60 days of training.
• Positive client feedback on team professionalism and quality of work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
