Position:
The Electrical Assembly Technician is responsible for performing electrical tasks on packaging lines, palletizing, and shipping automation equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

- Wire equipment as instructed.
- Assembly of Electrical or Mechanical assemblies as instructed.
- Bend and route conduit as instructed
- Assemble various conveyor assemblies as instructed.
- Maintain all 5S standards.
- Periodic travel may be required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
(Knowledge, Skills & Abilities, Education & Experience)
- Minimum of a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1 year of experience in an electrical controls manufacturing/production environment required. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
- Ability to interpret and understand any and all electrical and mechanical drawings required
- Knowledge of electrical controls wiring preferred.
- Experience in layouts and function of electrical control cabinets required.
- Experience in industrial automation preferred.
- Experience in conduit bending.
- Ability to use power tools, ex. drills, saws, grinders, and cutting wheels.
- Basic computer skills are required to open drawings and 3D models.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, make decisions, solve problems, exercise good judgment and flexibility in an effort to maintain the schedule.
- Good communication, organization, and interpersonal skills are required.
- High awareness of client satisfaction level and client needs.
- Applicants must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
- The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills and be able to interact efficiently with others.
