Job Description
As a Senior USAID Program Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our team in pursuing USAID-funded projects that enhance trade and finance in priority markets. You will work closely with government officials, private sector stakeholders, and local communities to achieve project objectives and contribute to the economic development of the country.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive project strategy that aligns with USAID's goals and objectives.
- Oversee project activities and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with USAID officials, government counterparts, and private sector stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress and make necessary adjustments.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working on USAID-funded projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, Latin America or other developing countries.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex development programs.
- Deep understanding of the economic landscape and development challenges in emerging economies.
- Strong knowledge of trade, finance, and private sector development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a USAID Country Director or Program Manager is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to secure USAID contracts and proposals.
