EMPLOYER : Blueprint Equity Management, LLC JOB TITLE : Growth Equity Investment Associate (Multiple Openings)JOB LOCATION : 1025 Prospect St, Suite #300, La Jolla, CA 92037 (San Diego County)JOB DUTIES : Responsible for assisting Growth Equity Team with market research, sourcing, and investment diligence in the technology sector for a growth equity / venture capital firm. Specific duties include : (1) Performing all aspects of investment due diligence; (2) Conducting extensive market research to bring sector insights to the Growth Equity Team and identify potential new investment opportunities; (3) Working with the Investment Team to build out and execute upon sector investment plans; (4) Performing outreach for potential investments in the B2B SaaS, Payments, and Tech-Enabled Services sectors; (5) Performing financial modeling, including 3 statement analysis, SaaS metrics / cohort analysis, and operational efficiency metrics; (6) Conducting competitive landscape / industry research and identifying market trends; (7) Providing support to portfolio companies and tracking KPIs and metrics for the investment committee and investors.REQUIREMENTS : 4 years of private or growth equity investment experience, including 1.5 years of investment banking experience and 2 years of operational experience across product, sales, marketing, finance, operations, and business development at a tech company or startup, including specific experience drafting investment memos; proficiency in advanced analytical / quantitative modeling skills, including 3 statement modeling and SaaS metrics; proficiency conducting valuation analyses and with sourcing platforms (such as SourceScrub, Grata, or Crunchbase), financial markets platforms (such as Pitchbook or CapitalIQ), outreach software (such as Outreach or ContactOut), and CRM platforms (such as Hubspot or Salesforce).Send resume and cover letter to : slewis@onblueprint.com#LI-DNI
