What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Consultant Co-op: Fall 2025 position at Blueprint Talent?
This job is in-person in Chicago. Students will be responsible for their own housing. We have been proud to mentor over 20 Northeastern co-ops in Chicago since Spring 2017!
About Blueprint:
Blueprint is a boutique consulting firm that helps high-growth companies with recruiting strategy and process. Our clients include some of the most successful firms in technology and finance, as well as software startups and even recently-acquired companies. Founder Chris Resto is the lead author of RECRUIT OR DIE: How Any Business Can Beat the Big Guys in the War for Young Talent (Penguin Portfolio). Chris built the global recruiting program for high-frequency trading firm GETCO (now part of KCG) and later served as coach to the CTO. How you can help us: You'll have great visibility into and opportunities to contribute to our other projects, such as:
- designing recruiting strategy and the sales pitch to attract top talent
- planning and executing spring, summer, and/or fall college recruiting events
- sourcing target candidates and creating interview processes
- company values and culture development
One of our former interns conducted data-driven research, played a key role in designing a talent platform for a venture capital firm's portfolio, and helped present the final deck to the VC's managing partners.

As a small team and a young company, we need you to demonstrate a few qualities to help us get things done.

- resourcefulness, learning quickly, and asking for help when you need it
- team player - you look for ways to make others more effective
ADDITIONAL INFO:
Students would be required to relocate to Chicago and are responsible for housing. Potential travel for researching schools and candidates, or for on-site work with clients. Past interns have traveled for work in cities such as NY, SF, LA, London and more.
