Barbacks are responsible for supporting the bartender in keeping the bar stocked and clean; makes drinks when needed. Uses hospitality and graciousness in dealing with guests. Performs duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
The Blueprint showcases a vibrant mix of live performances, from local legends to international sensations, alongside innovative cocktails and gourmet bites that pay homage to the culinary heritage of Nashville and the legacy of Printers Alley. Featuring a unique open-window concept and an inviting outdoor patio, The Blueprint offers patrons a mesmerizing atmosphere where the spirits of past printers and contemporary creatives merge, making it the definitive gathering spot for both local enthusiasts and global talents.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Have complete knowledge of products and specifications
- Follow and execute service standards as outlined in training
- Help promote a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guests
- Control the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become intoxicated
- Oversee bar maintenance. Always maintain a clean and organized bar
- Keep bar area supplied in glassware, garnishes, etc
- Provide bartenders with the appropriate spirit/glass/garnish/tool to help them move efficiently and quickly in making drinks
- Provide guests at the bar with the correct and appropriate silverware for their food items
- Clean up any spills/ broken glassware in the bar area

Knowledge, Skills and Personal Attributes
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Well-organized with ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Possess strong work attention and attention to detail
- Education and Experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- Must complete Food Handlers and BASSET Certificate
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 30 pounds
