Blues Hog manufacturers premium BBQ products and is headquartered in Washington, MO. We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Graphic Designer.
This is a full-time position. Competitive Pay based on Experience. Benefits package offered with full-time positions.
The graphic designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, layouts and photos to be used across multiple platforms including print, web, and social media. Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you. The goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.
Responsibilities
Primary duties, but not limited to:
- Assist Marketing team with product launch campaigns
- Formulate E-marketing campaigns and draft e-blasts to leverage B2B and B2C commerce
- Conceptualize visuals based on requirements for product listings, guides, marketing material and more
- Prepare rough drafts, present ideas, and edit according to feedback
- Develop illustrations, branded content and other designs using Adobe software programs
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts according to brand guidelines
- Test graphics across various media
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Skills
- REQUIRED: Proven experience with design software and technologies (such as Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
- A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
- Work well in group settings and in maintain positive attitude in high pressure situations
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Degree in Design, Marketing/Advertising, Digital Communication, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
