Junior to Senior Litigation Attorney, Providence, RI, 150k to 190k base, bonus, contingency participation

Responsibilities:
- Leadership, mentoring of more junior litigation attorneys
- Active involvement in all phases of client representation from intake, initial office conferences, case development, demand, negotiation, and resolution
- Extensive client interaction including intake and subsequent communications
- Work collaboratively with senior attorneys, junior attorneys, and paralegals in litigating complex medical negligence and serious injury cases
- Attend and participate in weekly team meetings relating to the evaluation and advancement of injury and malpractice cases, attend and advocate for clients at depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trial
- Independently research, interpret and apply legal principles in the context of motion practice and litigation
- Prepare demands and negotiate successful resolutions on behalf of clients
- Personally handle multitude of personal injury and medical malpractice cases
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in Personal Injury Litigation, Complex Litigation, Medical Malpractice Litigation
- Client focused experience – personally demonstrate that both external and internal clients are a high priority by identifying, and responding to their needs in a timely and efficient manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Advanced analytical skills
- Strong academic credentials, management skills, writing and oral communication skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- I licensed to practice law in Rhode Island. Licensing in Massachusetts, and/or Connecticut is a plus
