Position Type: Full Time

Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $135,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and location.

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado. This is not a remote position.

Additional Compensation: This position is eligible for an end-of-year bonus.

Position Description

We're looking for a driven and detail-oriented Staff Project Manager to join our team and help shape the future of space data innovation.

In this role, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding a team dedicated to directly supporting our space customers. You'll ensure that users of our technology receive exceptional service and leverage their feedback to drive continuous improvement. By managing project timelines, tracking critical metrics, and delivering high-quality results, you'll consistently exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects, ensuring deadlines are met, and quality deliverables are achieved.
• Define project goals, scope, and priorities, aligning them with customer needs and team capabilities.
• Track team performance metrics and communicate progress clearly with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customers to deliver tailored solutions that emphasize quality and value.
• Estimate timelines and resource needs to keep projects running efficiently.
• Identify, mitigate, and manage risks to prevent roadblocks.
• Monitor budgets and allocate resources effectively, ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Track milestones to measure and communicate project success.
• Foster collaboration across teams for smooth execution.
• Deliver clear, consistent project updates to ensure transparency and trust.
• Oversee quality control to maintain excellence in every deliverable.
• Conduct post-project reviews to gather insights and improve future performance.
• Stay informed about the latest tools and methodologies in software development and space.

Basic Qualifications and Skills

• Experience using project management tools like Jira, Asana, or MS Project.
• Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Strong leadership and communication skills for managing cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of balancing multiple projects.
• Analytical problem-solver with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Proven budget management experience, including cost tracking and resource planning.
• Ability to build collaboration and alignment among stakeholders.

Required Education: 4 years in Project Management with a Bachelor of Science degree OR associate degree with 2 additional years beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree OR a High School Diploma with 4 additional years of Project Management experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance. To be eligible for clearance, US Citizenship is required, and an employee must agree to participate in a background screen and credit check.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
