Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and Construction Project Manager to join our team. As the Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to completion. This role requires a strong leader who can manage teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities
Project Leadership : Take ownership of all aspects of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery. Lead project teams, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Timeline & Budget Management : Develop detailed project timelines, track progress, and ensure milestones are met. Manage project budgets, optimize costs, and ensure projects are completed within financial parameters.
Stakeholder Communication : Maintain proactive communication with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Provide regular progress updates, manage client expectations, and resolve any issues or concerns.
Quality Assurance : Oversee construction activities to ensure high-quality workmanship, compliance with codes, and safety regulations. Perform site inspections to ensure standards are being met and issues are addressed immediately.
Team Management : Motivate and guide project teams, ensuring everyone is aligned and working efficiently. Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet performance standards and timelines.
Procurement & Resource Allocation : Oversee procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Manage resources effectively to avoid delays and cost overruns.
Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Resolve any on-site challenges quickly to minimize disruption to project timelines.
Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed records of all project activities, including contracts, change orders, permits, and daily logs. Provide comprehensive reports to senior management on project progress, financials, and potential issues.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction project management or a similar field with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Education : Construction Management, Civil Planning, or a related field is preferred.
Skills : Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
Project Management Tools : Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge : In-depth understanding of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
Budget & Financial Acumen : Experience managing large-scale budgets and optimizing project costs without compromising quality.
Certifications : PMP, LEED, or other relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
Safety Awareness : A commitment to maintaining a safe job site and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other safety regulations.
