Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and streamline day-to-day HR operations
- Clarify company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees and job applicants
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding processes
- Administer the FMLA process from application through administration
- Perform administrative tasks like processing payroll, resolving time discrepancy issues, and managing filing status changes using Kronos and HR Service Center
- Assist with recruitment activities, including interviews, tests, and employee selection for vacant roles
- Contribute to the development and implementation of cost-saving ideas and strategies
- Communicate newly updated policies or procedures to the team efficiently
- Coordinate and lead training sessions for employees regarding compliance/ethics, Expect Respect, and safety
The Right Person Has:
- Minimum Bachelors degree
- 2 – 4 years prior human resources experience
- Ability to multi-task in dynamic environment
- Knowledge of the operational characteristics, services, and activities of a comprehensive human resources program as needed to assist in setting and achieving departmental goals
