What You'll Achieve as the Vice President of Revenue Cycle:
- Oversee and lead areas such as:
- Procedural/Surgical Coding
- Inpatient Professional Coding
- ED and Anesthesia Coding
- Clinical Documentation Improvement
- Utilization Management
- Clinical Denial Recovery Unit
- Build a collaborative vision with the Sr. Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer for integrated, exceptional quality services.
- Ensure clear communication of business strategies and models to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Performance Improvement and Analytics teams to innovate the Revenue Cycle Playbook.
- Recruit and develop top talent for excellence and innovation within the department.
- Lead technology strategies to optimize revenue cycle operations and integrate with cutting-edge solutions like Epic and AI-driven enhancements.
- Champion financial performance, including capital and operational budgets, focusing on cost efficiency and transformative growth.
- Build fruitful relationships with market leaders, finance teams, and clinical stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business or a health-related field is highly preferred.
- Experience:
- At least seven years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, ideally at a director level or higher.
- Strong business acumen with experience in contracting or group purchasing.
- Proven leadership in large-scale transformation projects is beneficial.
- Skills:
- Strategic vision and excellent communication skills.
- Adept with advanced data analytics and performance metrics.
- Proficient in nurturing a culture of innovation and accountable leadership.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively lead and inspire teams.
