Project Manager EPMO Supporting the Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS)

Here's what you'll be doing:
- Leverage the State of Michigan's Project Portfolio Management Tool (Clarity) for preparing project schedules, assigning resources, and managing budgets.
- Create and deliver presentation material tailored for executives, managers, and project team members.
- Oversee project progress, focusing on managing costs, schedules, scopes, resources, quality, and risks.
- Ensure timely and precise communication with stakeholders including project sponsors, team members, and DTMB management.
- Foster collaboration between technical and business teams, driving consensus and commitment.
- Develop and maintain key project management deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, such as Project Charter, Budget, and Change Requests.
- Coordinate with other agencies for seamless communication regarding project interfaces.
- Ensure compliance with the SUITE PMM and System Engineering Methodology (SEM), ensuring smooth phase transitions.
- Facilitate Change Management processes, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained before implementation.
- Develop Corrective Action Plans (CAP) where necessary to realign projects.
- Review vendor contracts to manage deliverables and ensure adherence to approval procedures.
- Navigate stakeholder interactions to clarify expectations and ensure completion of deliverables.
What you need to succeed:
